A Tree

In our new house (which we're moving into next week) we have a bonus room which will be half play room half craft/sewing room. I know that sounds like a disaster, but in the end it will win me more sewing time. My kids are very content to play, as long as I'm in the room. When I'm not in the room I plan to be super organized and keep things put away, and have most things behind doors. I know you're all laughing at me and my lofty ideas of organization and thinking I should know myself better by now. But whatevs. Anyways, that's not my point. My point is that we have a very big plain wall in that room, it's a vaulted ceiling. A very big plain wall in a hideous neutral colour doesn't suit crafting and playing, so I'm going to paint a tree on it. I'm thinking about something whimsical, but not to immature. So here's some ideas

I like the first one that goes up onto the roof. It would probably be the hardest to do well, though.

I like the one in the pink room!! Maybe its just the color of the tree, but it looks really neat.

The first one makes me want to climb it...yes it would be difficult to paint but it's really cool.
I also like the one by the pink beds.

I love the face on the first one, it's great. I won't be painting it onto the ceiling though, that's too hard to paint over when we move out. I'll be painting it onto a wall with a vault, so it will look really tall and nice.

i like the second and third ones. i wish i was there to help you... :( i'm painting our church's toddler's room in january (tentatively of course..... you know how my life goes, basically because you're living the same life).... and i'm painting a large tree in the corner and little hills and houses along the bottom quarter of all the walls. i'll come help you if you promise to come down here and help me after... :)

Three votes for #3, that has to be a "go for it" Holls. You could always 'finish' the treat up into the vault so it doesn't have the chopped off look of course.
